You can make an engine with 25000 hp, but getting all that power onto the road is another matter. Stick this in a car and see what happens. Then i`ll be impressed.

Also, i wonder how long this engine will last on a day to day usage?

Sammersd: thanks for stating the obvious. the point of the video is to show what the engine is capable of. and as for reliability, spoke to the main man who built this engine. he had the engine in this video, going through these stress tests, the whole day... literally red lining and high boost, for a full day. only to back off before melting the extractors. eventually the water pump gave in... thats it.

kintekobo: ive got a very similar setup of modificatins on my engine (same engine). its not awesome. but if i drive normally, id get approx 350litres out of a 60Litre tank. if i go hooning, then id prob get about 200litres...

FYI, Ford Australia make inline cylinders for Ford Falcon engines. I know cause I have a Ford Falcon. That pretty much looks similar to mine. Except mine is a stock, unmodified motor. If you really interested in Ford Australia and their achievements. Ford Australia designs independent to Ford US. Ford Australia designs independent to Ford US. And yes the XR6 engines come in the Falcon range, their is also a XR8 (non-turbo). Also other check out Ford F6 and Ford Falcon GT. Most of these cars are under US$80,000.
