It basically uses green screen technology without the green screen. and if you don`t know how that works, here ya go:

A computer is used to put an image over any object of a certain color. Normally its used for something like the weather where the background is altered. In this case, they green-screened small objects in the foreground to look like a picture taken previously of the background.

Thing is, with green screens, the illusion of invisibility wouldn`t look that flawed. This doesn`t look fake, they did post an article about this in Popular mechanics.

You could tell it was fake from the first ball. If it was real, we would have seen him behind the ball, not the background behind him.

I know they use projectors to do this but it is being used for camo as well of course this is the Japanese version that they r working on the U.S. ver. is using electrons microscopes to develop billions of pin point camera`s and and lcd screens to reflect everything in a 360 fashion so no matter where u stand u would be totally in visible supposedly they r making a like a full body suit out of it or thats at least what I read.
