I don`t think it`s really appropriate to use the avian flu as a joke in that context. I find it disheartening because that guy was actually dying of avian flu and it`s not funny at all. It all goes into the melting pot of American Racism and ignorance. Nice Try Onion, not this time.

Let me back up my previous comment with a question. If the Avian flu was happening in the United States would it be ok to take footage of one of the sick on their death beds and use it in a joke?... but it`s ok if it`s a Chinese guy?
