And it`s just a joke. In the words of Spike Milligan himself "If I got angry everytime someone made an Irish joke I`d be in a fight every day." (might not be his exact words but that was the jist of it)

I`m Irish, am I offended? No, because it`s joke. Interestingly, most of the Irish jokes I`ve heard over the years were told to me by Irish people - and told as jokes too.
