(Shay-lah) is mostly how it`s found it to be pronounced, try google. Either way, I know how to pronounce my dogs` name. thanks for the help though...

is it possible to keep a wolf as a pet? i know some old man who has one as a pet up north.

nice dog, looks really nice to have around. probably great with visitors

You would most likely need to obtain an exotic pet license, and of course check with your local ordinances, state laws etc. I know I`d want to treat it as a guest in my home, rather than someone to do tricks for me. If you can`t handle your wolf, what are you going to do? Animal shelter might be able to find a good spot to release it, or have to put it down. I wouldn`t think walking it around town would be very wise... I think you should get a husky, or another domesticated wild looking breed to avoid lawsuits and such.
