I`m holding my opinion until I try it. 99% of the MMORPG`s I`ve tried (including the over-rated WoW) I didn`t care for. Cryptic, however, was responsible for City of Heroes, which is one of the three games that I do love to play.

^ Other than the ridiculous level of customization CoH was balls. I don`t like that in Star Trek Online everyone`s gonna be a captain now. Where the hell are thousands upon thousands of captains gonna go? Game space better be massive

im a hardcore trekkie. part of me died with the end of voyager, and even the cancellation of enterprise ( i was finally starting to get into it by the end.) ive been waiting for this game. in all seriousness though, its going to lick monkey scrotum.

The 3rd person shooting action looked janky, at best. If they`re gonna make it an MMORPG they`d better focus on the single player in a social world aspect; otherwise it`s just another MMO with the "Star Trek" in the title.

`everybody gets to be a captain from day 1` is the same bull SOE tried with star wars galaxies when in some patch they suddenly made being jedi a common thing... and nobody wanted to play it anymore

i`d rather see "secret of vulcan fury" finished than a mediocre mmorpg that makes my non-vulcan fury erupt

I`m never a fan of MMO`s with shuttles or vehicles thrown in the mix. I can only see limited customization in terms of the characters as well which is a huge selling point.
