Beijing Olympics Opening - 2nd Act

Drumbeating. I agree with the narrator that it was a bit intimidating and their smiles seem a bit spooky....the shouting was also not very discernable. One of the less successful performances of the night, in my opinion.

I actually quite enjoyed it, I can see where you`re coming from with the intimidating factor of it, but thought it was choreographed brilliantly. Very powerful performance :).

This Olympic ceremony was not that amazing, nothing eye catching , it was nice nothing `awe inspiring` like the commentator said. I do have to admit the synchronization in number of dancers and drummers , etc. was very good. But there definitely has been better in the sense of awe inspiring Olympic ceremonies.
I do find the buildings made for the Olympics very well done , some are innovative and others are beautiful.

Maybe they would`ve done a better job if they were getting paid to do it... I thought is was fuckin awesome! The way they do everything in unison and then when they cut out the lights! 5/5

I believe that the ceremony as a whole was not as amazing as people are saying it is. Certain parts are very nice and well done , yes amazing but as a whole no. Same goes for other Olympics where they had very nice parts. But again I would not call it "unforgettable" as a French news paper i read.
I would not classify it in the `awe inspiring category` since it does not produce a feeling of power or grandeur. Other nations having the Olympics have made stuff similar but like my previous comment what was nice and amazing was the synchronization of the dancers, drummers and so on.
Then again the Chinese hyped it up so much that maybe I was expecting something never seen.

Do they have rave parties in China, because that`s a lot of glow sticks.

The people hiding under the moving square things that made water drops and whatnot were WAY cooler.

So little girl that sang in the ceremony not her really singing. And the impressive fireworks , well not all that there. I wonder what else will come out saying that what was seen was not all that `awe inspiring`.
