So much better than our coverage in Australia...

We had camera men chatter going over the audio. The worst fucking commentators ever. Cameras being dropped mid-shot. And of course BOOM!! BOOM!! BOOM!! fireworks!!!! Then 120sec commercial break... every 5-10mins.... so we missed the dragons and a lot of other shit.

Australia Channel 7 sucks big time and I think everyone here was really fucking pissed off about it.

I appreciate the massive amount of effort that must go in to a stadium and performance such as this... but it`s depressing how much money is pissed away on toys like this every 4 years: the Bird`s Nest cost China around 3.5 billion yuan (over $500,000,000/£265,000,000)

Anyone who claims this is a good way to spend money.... doesn`t get this cookie

yes china had its ups and downs... but being a Chinese born Canadian myself... i feel proud that china has put this much effort into making a great Olympic game for the entire world to enjoy

Anyone else notice during the count down... that none of the drummers actually touched the drums? The lights just came on automatically. Meaning that it was computer controlled because having the people do it left room for mistakes.
Just wondering if I was the only one that noticed.
