that`s the point there in the title "responsible adults". if u remove the prohibition of drugs, how are you gonna make sure everyone uses them responsibly? prohibition exists because of that small percentage who will get fucked up, make their family homeless and kill someone for money for their next fix.

^sato - join the real world and see that alcohol kills more innocent bystanders than all other substances combined. Looking at the history of this 35+ year war, nothing about it has shrunk. The amount of people fighting it, the yearly budget of the war, the prisons...

I take that back, somethings did shrink. The available money for wars and education, the amount of available bedspace in the jails and prisons has definitely shrunk.

Welp. I think all this is pointless, because I truly believe that the powers that be are playing both sides in the so called "War on drugs". They are making money on both ends of it. Think of it. Create laws against drugs with stiff penalties. Long prison times. Build profit making prisons as the have now. Instant slave labor. Then with the other hand create and sell the drugs to the very people they put in jail. Wouldn`t be the first time a government has dealt in illegal drugs.
Hong Kong was built on opium. Brits traded opium for tea with the Chinese. Thus Hong Kong was born.
