This the most comprehensive and viable initiative for breaking our dependency on foreign oil that has ever been presented to congress. To learn more about the plan and how to support it please go to:

it`s a good idea but how much would it cost to convert all those gasoline cars to natural gas?

^traditional internal combustion vehicles could be gradually phased out or modified to compatibility throughout the next few decades.

This is indeed a viable option, and the reduction in greenhouse gases alone would be a huge benefit to our children and so on. Can we all get together and push for this to happen? Imagine the potential..... Now, I`m Canadian and we`re only 39.5 million big, but we have the largest land mass for a country in the world.. I think it`s Canada`s obligation to maybe help out with this initiative, given our consumption statistics are the same with respect to per-capita numbers.

dont know why this wouldnt have worked 60 years ago. The technology isnt overwhealming...

na nevermind it just seems more logical to build and entire society on a nonrenewable resource...

Good Leadership? I don`t think it will happen anytime soon. People want money, and they want it fast. They don`t give a fuck about a good leader.

/\ As brilliant of a plan this is, the oil companies that are making all that money will make sure that it doesn`t happen.

If we really had our shit together our cars wouldn`t be running on gasoline anymore, or on very little. Electric cars are badass!

Not many people know that with a few modifications (some few hundred dollars worth of pieces and labor) you can essentially make your car into a hybrid. There are companies that do that or you can do it yourself. The computers on the newer cars (mid 90`s to now) actually regulate the consumption rate of gas so you would have to get a bypass supressor thing on them.

I actually don`t know that much but I`ll upload this coast to coast interview on spiked casue I think everyone should know about it. Its pretty legit.

Heres the youtube link if you want it now (thats what she said) : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VSVomgcS_D4

And imagine skyscrapers or just regular buildings lined with solar panel mirrors. Or coated with nano-tech solar paint.

All I am saying is that we need to take the initiative to get off foreign oil for ourselves, Even if it is an investment.

Quebec makes an annual killing off the United States for selling them Hydro electricity. The Americans can learn from that and create their own renewable resource cash-cow(wind power) and eventually sell the surplus energy elsewhere... helping themselves out of a shitstorm in the process.

So this grand plan is to build more windfarms? You know i think he`s not the only one who`s thought of that.
