Im sick of hearing yanks bitch about fuel prices. most of europe pays double or more what you do. THE REST OF THE WORLD EXCEPT THE GULF PAYS MORE THAN YOU DO.

Maybe when you all stop buying SUV`s and lardy yank tanks people might have some sympathy for you.

^ Wow relax there buddy, not all of use bitch and moan about the gas prices and buy SUV`s and are fat... I`m 183 cm and weigh about 78 kg. And i roller blade everywhere to save gas as long as its within 4 miles.

I remember going to montana as a kid and seeing gas for 49 cents a gallon.

pyranos - I mean no offence to you whatsoever. You most certainly dont come under the catergory of people i was aiming at. i wish there was more like you.

btw, i never called americans fat, i said `lardy yank tanks` meaning vehicles that are overly heavy. always makes me laugh when someone refers to their 2 litre 3000lb car as a `small engined compact`

Dont_just_stare_at_it: uuh... why would a 2 litre 3,000lb vehicle not be small? Granted, cars could be smaller, but to tell you the truth there aren`t a whole lot of compact, or supercompact cars here in the US. Only now are some starting to show up, namely the Smart ForTwo (which before you plant me in the category of a SUV or "lardy yank tank" owner, i have a ForTwo on reserve). Granted... the vehicle i have right now is a `99 Dodge Durango with a V8... i plan on selling that as soon as i can pick up my Smart, or sooner. Also trying to get my `87 Jeep Wrangler up and running again. It`s going to have a V8 in it, but it won`t be my everyday use car once i get the Smart. then the Smart will be my everyday use car, and the Jeep will be my fun car.... only really being my work commute vehicle if i feel like driving it for a change, or if it`s snowing quite a bit during the winter.... more than i believe the Smart would be able to handle.

I`m actually kinda tired of listening to people who AREN`T "yanks" complaining about "yanks" (not to mention those USING the word "yanks") and appearing to throw everyone who lives here in the US into the same stereotypical pile of shit that`s seen on TV. Not everybody drives Hummers or large diesel/gasoline trucks.... just like not everybody drives sub-compacts or supercompacts. Some people are probably more like a friend of mine, or even my brother, saying that because the cars are small, you`d practically be dead no matter what hit you. Granted, if you get into an accident, you have a good chance of being hurt in some way.... but that`s the case for any vehicle you drive, not just small cars.
