its merely a metronome with prerecorded moves, no interaction with the orchestra whatsoever, a real master can direct one violin if hes too slow or up the beat when the orchestra slows down.

I always found the role of the conductor confusing. Isn`t it pointless to have a conductor, since all the musicians have the music written in front of them. Unless the keeps everything in sync.

musician knows the notes, a conductor directs the dynamics of the songs, like going faster or louder, he listen to all the parts at the same time and can direct one group to go faster or slower if they<re mistaken, a conductor is absolutely essential
