Was it really necessary for them to put a storyline (an overused and lame storyline at that) into a racing game? I`m not a fan to genre, but last time I checked games like Gran Turismo, Forza, Project Gotham Racing, GRID, and Burnout were on top of the heap and all lack any real storyline.

most wanted had to be the best NFS game they made, the enviorment and storyline where awsome. Pro street was just plain gay. Carbon was Ok, but i didnt like the fact everything was taken at night, and if u had a shitty pc that ment u wont be able to see shit when ur playing.

NFS Underground were the best versions. After that the versions that came out seemed fake. Cars would go from 0-60 in what seemed like .3 seconds. (my opinion)

I did all the drifting and drag races in pro street. Not the best NFS game but ok.

Im gonna keep playing these games anyways :) I even enjoyed Juiced 2. And almost done with Flatout Ultimate Carnage

I`d just be happy to see EA make one damn NFS game that doesn`t cheat it`s ass off. Whether it be the simply fact that the opponent cars rarely mess up on there own and if they do they can get back to where they were in like 2 seconds or the fact the opponents always has a better car than the player. I`m not saying I don`t like the challenge I just don`t want to break something because on the last lap of race some BS glitch happens.

Underground 2 was the best. Most wanted was good but too short and the cops get boring and annoying after awhile. Pro street sucks man-tits.

sounds like jefferosuke just sucks at racing games. Oh and dirt is the best recent racing game made to date. I should know because I have played every racing game made since 1995.

EA should really make their games more realistic. I don`t care if the guy I`m racing is the boss, his stock audi r8 just can`t beat my porsche carrera gt in straight lines. And I don`t know if any of you guys realised with EA, but when your driving, the speedometer indicates 100 but you`re obviously not even doing 50.

And hopefully this time you can free roam, something basic they should have done in pro street.

Most Wanted was probably the best in the series. All the NFS games are way to easy and short though. I do like the slightly fake feel of NFS, if you want a simulation get gran turismo or forza motorsport.

You guys are all wrong. NFS hot pursuit ( the first one) was the best. Two player on pc and awesome cars.

Back when Need for Speed had exotic cars and not Hondas and was from Electronic Arts, not just EA. Split screen racing, playable police, and no stupid storyline. Everything since then has been simply bad or god-awful, with the exception of the fifth installment, Porsche.
