Powerful speech. Please tell me that there are enough Americans who still have the power of independent thought to take this and run with it.

It`s still not too late for you guys to turn things around. I can remember a time when the rest of the world viewed America as a land of open, honest and generous people. Perhaps a bit showy, maybe a bit brash, but basically decent and honourable.

Unfortunately today the view is of a big, swaggering, greedy bully. A liar and a thief, stealing another countries oil to quench the thirst of it`s over-sized gas guzzling cars.

I fervently hope that you will come to your senses. It`s still not too late to make amends and restore your country in the eyes of the world, and what is more important, in your own self esteem.
