they accomplish this because they dont treat others humanely. the construction workers are usually paid barely enough to survive and they live like shit and have to drift around to look for new jobs each time their building is completed, or at least that`s what i heard in those interviews with the workers. cheap labor is arguably the backbone of the chinese economy, bringing in foreign investments and creating new jobs for the middle class after the implementation of the open door policy and a partial conversion to capitalism
