What should he have called it? That`s what a person`s "turn" in a relay is called! a leg. He would have sounded even more ignorant had he said, "her...uuhh...turn is coming up shortly."

That`s like saying,"She lost her eye a few years ago and now it`s hard for her to thread the...uhhh.. open circular part of a needle."
