I think you might want to add that he died of a heartattack "due to massive alcoholism". Apparently he drank a few bottles of spirits and then a half-dozen pints before wrestling with a group of sailors (no joke), and then died.

Ever noticed how he seems drunk in Gladiator?
That`s `cause he is.
