It`s called the "Mozambique Drill". And, yes, Cruise can actually do that in real life. Trained with some of the best shooters around, including lotsa live-fire drills.

And, yes, I too am deeply saddened that all that skill has been turned to the Dark Side of Scientology. Perhaps he will one day turn back...like Darth.
