love stuff like this, i think the best one is one where it starts off at `house` level and slowly zooms out (i.e. to city level, then world level) until it reaches the edge of the known galaxy in one motion.

Its somewhere on spiked i think, just cant seem to find it :(

Yeah, the Earth is small compared to a lot of things in the universe...but it`s sill almost 150 million square kilometers of land area. That`s fucking HUGE!!!

You can sing Disney`s "It`s a Small World" as much as you want to, but it doesn`t change the fact that the Earth is a whole damn planet and most of the pea brains living on it have no concept of how big it really is. No wonder they think it`s so fragile, despite life tenaciously holding on for more than three billion fucking years without us getting all weepy about saving a goddamn spotted owl.

^ Boy somebody missed the point of the video. Earth may be large to us from our point of view..but in space were merely a spec compared to whats really out there. Open your mind a little. And WTF does a spotted owl have to with the size of the earth..nobody said it was fragile, just tiny among other objects in space. DUMBASS!!

Earth is small. Yes from the Universe`s point of view. You are a person living on Earth, this very large piece of land, floating in space revolving a sun, which is revolving a super massive black hole. We will all die before anything happens to the scope of "exploring" this space happens.

By the way, for those interested, Arctus is not the largest star in the galaxy, there is one called Pollux, which makes Arctus incredibly small.

You want to a see a beast of a star. Look up VY Canis Majoris if you want to see that beast of a star compared to the sun.

Pff thats total bullshit the Earth is flat and supported by 3 turtles . And those turtles suporte each other to not fall in space. And if you really watch that movie you can see a shameful atempt to trick us, from Algore, to belive global warming exists. Others seek a way to find Maddie in the sun plasma erupting here and then. But those Puerto Rican satellits are jamming the signal. Thus the only way we can survive is to vote McCain.
