Civilian skydiver smashed into an army brass band at 50 mph during a ceremony.
The skydiver injured himself and three band members in the accident at an opening exhibition in Fort Riley, Kansas, yesterday morning.
Scott Hallock was going around 50 mph when he smashed feet-first into the tuba and trumpet players.
Sergeant Rachel Boggs was knocked unconscious and suffered a fractured jaw and Sargeant Andrew Spinazzola fractured an ankle in the collision.
Both soldiers sustained other minor head and neck injuries as well. Another soldier suffered a minor leg injury.
Mike Keating of the Fort Riley Fire Department said Hallock sprained his ankle and refused medical treatment.
He added that two tubas were destroyed.
