Except how is she firing her weapons underwater?

Either the pressure will cause the bullet to explode as soon as it is fired(massive heat+pressure=bad) or the pistol would not fire due to watter getting into the powder because pressure causes the bullet to reduce in size allowing the pressure to force water in.

It is impossible to fire a firearm as far underwater as she was.

"This time, just to mix things up, Lara will no longer handle like a cow in a shopping cart, as was the hallmark of the previous games. Also, we are considering adding camera controls that are remotely functional. "
