Reminds me of the tetris one.

All the lights are hooked up on a grid so there really isn`t anyone running room to room or whatever. Still creative.

Its really amazing, but honestly the planning is VERY SIMPLE. If you`ve ever made a program that did just a little more than `hello world` than the planning is really easy. Its just programming in the lights to turn on/off in a 16x16 square (or whatever it was... if you can do that on a computer than the planning and the programming are all already done.

Hook it up to a standard light board (that they use for rock concerts or movies etc).. run 10000 million feet of wiring hook the lights up at the windows and your done.

Actually Arcturus519, its even more simple than that. Why run an exorbitant length of wiring when wire is already in place? Much like your idea you need a digital controller which can be done by many means (Comp, PLC, CaC) and a transmission method. Control each rooms light/color by control relays in/near the panel. Each `pixel` would need to have two phases to which a code is assigned for off, white and red. Write a program and go. This system would also allow for an actual game to be played.

what I`m curious about is the red rooms? you would have to install red bulbs and have more than one light. That`s no typical building.
