Guantanamo Bay Interrogation Video Relea...

Lawyers for a Canadian prisoner held at Guantanamo Bay have released a videotape showing him being interrogated.
The pictures offer the first glimpse inside the secretive and isolated US prison in Cuba.
In the video, a Canadian Security Intelligence Services agent is shown grilling Omar Khadr in 2003, when he was 15.
The video shows him weeping, his face buried in his hands.
Khadr also tells his captors he`s been tortured.
The Canadian citizen is accused of throwing a grenade that killed a US soldier during a 2002 firefight in Afghanistan.

Canada, the USA and any other government that condones that sort of treatment of a human being, isnt fit to call them selves civilized, let alone run what are meant to be civilized nations.

well his brother IS in jail for conspiracy to kill US soldiers in iraq and his dad was al-qaeda, im not saying this means he is guilty but, if he really did that he deserves what he gets. think if the person he allegedly killed was in your family how would you feel about him?

^^^ I agree, if he is guilty of the crime he is accused of, then he should be punished. But what happened to `innocent until proven guilty`? What happened to ur right to a fair trial? What happened to habeas corpus? If u torture a man for long enough he will admit to anything u want him to, and if we use that admission as proof of guilt then we are no better than the people that were meant to be protecting us from.

He probably is guilty, and i wish the rest of his family would be expelled from Canada.
BUT, it does set a precedent for the treatment of child soldiers I`m uneasy with. i mean torturing a 16yo.. what if he was 12.. wheres the line?

You forgot to add the sister, who was rolled up going through airport security with a laptop containing al-Qaeda files.

The whole family needs to be deported from Canada and kicked out of the back end of a Herc over the Atlantic.

so why was this kid in afghanistan if he is a canadian citizen? no one in their right mind would go to afghanistan during a war unless they are involved some way, and learning the history of his family, they should either be killed, hung in public or deported back to afghanistan, Fuck the kid and the family, they kill US soldiers (i dont give a shit if you think that they have every right to) Especially when they are canadian citizens, they should be killed and hung. Lets set a fucking example that this type of shit wont be tolerated.

Boys throwing a grenade at invaders = Evil terrorist

American troops bomb Afghani villages killing hundreds of innocent women and children = Brave heroes spreading democracy and peace

Yeah makes perfect sense that people aren`t allowed to defend their homeland, after all the U.S. just want to help them by bombing their villages. That`s after all the only way you can bring democracy to these parts of the world.

I am sure he is guilty of whatever he did, but in no way does that mean he is less than human and is certainly doesn`t give the Americans to do shit like this.

CSIS claims that about a week before the interview jailing official`s begin sleep depriving him. Every four hours he would be awaken, handcuffed, move to another cell, then un-handcuffed. Thereby making his interview less useful to CSIS.

suicide bombers killing local`s = hero fighting evil invaders.

i fail to see how this is classified as defending ones homeland.
