If you teach the kids that "new york" is a bad word.
Every time they ticks, they will say that. Sadly no one can diagnose tourett in a early stage/age...
so plenty of time to learn bad words.

But, whats goes around. comes around. Most likely her mother taught her the word "nigger" in a very young age.
