i saw it, it`s not all that bad. i do hate how they throw in terms like "mutant", it didn`t really fit the mood. a word like demon would have suited it just fine, especially with the religious order thing. aliens would have fit in just as well. overall, the few sci-fi cliches thrown in and gratuitous deaths and cartoon blood, it`s quite watchable and even enjoyable. it vaguely reminds me of "ghosts of mars", this movie obviously got more bang for their buck.
one thing did bother me, the "mutants" had to drag their victims to the pit with the machine so it could impale then and "mutate" them, but the "mutant" crisis was worldwide. the problem should have been restricted to that continent at the most.

I have the Mutant Chronicles role-playing game. It`ll be interesting to see how close it comes, and if the bring in any of the Apostles. Great world background!

The new Punisher movie is meant to be a re-launch, like they did with Hulk. Thomas Jane will not be playing Frank Castle, some other actor is, but you can find the trailer online already.

Also, nice "Arrested Development" reference there Stenley G, I laughed at it.
