If the russian spy ship clearly saw Israeli boats shooting the USS liberty and life boats then what further proof for war crimes is needed?

Hell, an American President ordering the attacking of his own service men? thats far beyond treason...I dont know if there is even a law fitting for such a diabolical crime.

but it was in the middle of the Vietnam war, and before Tet so the public was still generally in favor of the Vietnam war... UNLESS this was to create a diversion!! yea and this way the US would be able sneak out of Vietnam without risking a severe public backlash and..

ugh.... I dislike conspiracy theories/theorists mostly because the "facts" that are presented are usually mere specualtion, NOT THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH! If I point this out in real life or the internet (the latter is absolutly pointless in trying to argue over, and yet I still do, just goes to show how drunk I am right now)I am periodically told to "OPEN MY EYES TO THE TRUTH"!!!!!

Even though I am almost certainly going to be voted down for this (as i always do) I am still going to poke holes in this whole consiracy theory (as I am not only critical of historic events but also the conspiracies that pop up).

1. This event happened during the six day war, where Israel attacked all of the Arab countries on its borders (I am not going to argue if it was justified or not, I am only going to try to give objective historical fact) and obliterated all opposition against it. The Sinai peninsula was taken, along with the Golan hieghts, as well as the West bank. There was no real need for the US the take over the Middlie east (like the video implies) as Israel did it in 6 days.

2. There were also inncedents of the IAF (Israeli Air Force) attacking there own troops during this conflict, meaning there were errors being made on the battlefield alreay.

I will not deny that this whole issue on the USS liberty is shady, and yes it should definetly be looked into. However, in the process of going for my history major, I am taught to use facts that I come across and piece them together to create a representation of the events in a way that represent what actually happened. Therefore, I cannot commit myself to accept this man`s paticular brand of "truth". therefore, i must remain critical of his views, his "facts" and his agenda.

This is also speculation that you accept as fact. The "proof" of this theory has not manifested even to this day and the only country in the world that takes this view is Japan itself (gee I wonder why).
