Opening Scene... The movie to me was alright not M.Night best work. It's at least a rental. Some pretty cool scenes.. But overall nothing truley scarey or freaky.

what... why people expect to gouge out their owns eyes in fear watching an M Night Shyamalan is beyond me.

I didn`t expect anything and think the film is a above average though not great. Especially when compared to the cheap thrills horrors mass produced by hollywood. However, I don`t think this should be compared with horror movies.

6th sense was an amazing first film.
then there was unbreakable and it blew my mind.
and signs was one of the most original movies ever.
ever since those 3 though, they have progressively gotten worse.

I personally don`t think his movies have gotten any worse. It`s just the fact that people have gotten used to his genre, and know what to expect from his films. When I went to see this movie, I knew what to expect, and it was just that. I thought the movie was great, it offers an idea that could actually happen, and then it leaves you wondering. Same goes for other movies of his like Signs, something that could actually happen. The problem with movies today is that people expect that BIG HOLLYWOOD ENDING on everything, they won`t watch films for the appreciation of the cinematography and the effort people put in to make them.
