I love this show! I love how they show both sides of everything, unlike most shows that they to be informative.I love how the woman didn`t even remember the name of the therapy she invented.The power of persuasion...awesome!

All that stuff is true. One time I had an accident and lost my limb and through the power of meditation, controlling my chi and plenty of "oohmms" I was able to regrow my lost leg and climb the sheer cliff face onto the road. Then through my mental connection with the universe, summoned a unicorn and rode it to work being nary a minute late.

It is my believe that you can heal people with some techniques not applied in modern medicine, its mostly a question of believing in it. Because you can never underestimate the power of the mind. But what their doing is just plain bullshit. Like the name of the show already says. Dont get me wrong I like the show but the methods their investigating are...I dunno, dumb?
Anyone who sells this kind of "magical" practice is a fucking hoax.

I have been using Oriental herbs and healing methods since i was a kid. so i have a decent background in this kind of stuff. but man, some people are just so dumb that they will believe anything.

all you need to do to trick people is invent a name thats cool, have pictures and charts that show funky colours, and wear some oriental clothing. Then the white people will believe you. None of the traditional oriental doctors i`ve been to even wear those clothes anymore!

i hate it when stuff from my culture get hijacked and used to trick people to make gains.

The placebo effect is well known and recognised in modern medicine, in fact no clinical trial is deemed acceptable unless there is a placebo group within the test.

This brings into question, doctors acknowledge that there is a power within the human mind and/or spirit that can heal even the most deadliest diseases, one must ask the question why do they not investigate this hidden untapped power that we all have any further?

Its simple, there is no profit in it, the pharmaceutical industry just want to sell their fucking crappy pills that dont work and doctors want to charge you for a consultation where they tell you that cant help you!

Western medicine is a joke, there are no cures, inmvestigate it like I did, you will be shocked!

Regarding Penn and Teller, this is just comedy only a fool would take it seriously.
