I love the part where the cop openly admits that they will NEVER win the war on drugs. All these drugs were legal at one time and should be again. "I have no patience for stupid laws and stupid policies" That sums it up right there for me.

that`s cool what he said about the swiss and what they are doing with heroin addicts, offering them their `fix` for a couple bucks (i believe thats what i heard)

don`t get me wrong, it`s a shame, but at the same time when your physically/ mentally addicted to a substance having it available to you when you need it for a few bucks is better than the alternative of what some people do for a fix.

This has been the best argument for Drug Legalization I`ve ever seen.

I want weed legalized myself because for the last 3 times I`ve bought some its had shit on it to increase its weight..

I have no idea what they`ve added to it this time...
I can`t grow it for myself because the police will just throw me in prison...
Oh yeah, and it costs 20 quid for only 3 grams (4 joints)

The problem with our society is that we expect people to do things for us. You know there`s a problem, but we hold onto to the belief that something will be done about it, so we go on our merry way. The worse part of society is that we feel we can do nothing about that particular thing that... we know is wrong. And then go on our merry way.
When you want to get something accomplished but don`t know how; that`s also bad.

i know many others have already said this but one of the biggest reasons why drugs are made illegal is because big business is behind it...it`s linked to the prison business and government on all aspects. absolutely many of our own leaders are aware of it...involved with it... and profit off of it.

You obviously know nothing about Marijuana and did not watch the above video. There has not been a single fatality caused by marijuana in all of recorded history. If you don`t believe me go back and watch the video again to hear the JUDGE clearly state: "It can`t kill you. You cannot overdose on Marijuana" (0:44) or do your own research (doubtful).

It`s your kind of ignorant attitude that keeps public opinion on the side of drug prohibition. The problem is that if any politician were ever to stay that they were FOR the legalisation of drugs, this would instantly become ammunition for the opposing party to exploit the ignorance of the general public who would all instantly vote against them without even wanting to hear why they want to legalise drugs.

Sadly, for now, the general public opinion (in the US and AUS at least) is that Drugs = Bad, therefore should be illegal.

Its physically impossible to die from a pot OD. It is possible to get into a car crash and die while high, but that isn`t dying from pot. NovaT is abosolutely correct in everything they said to you, so i`m not going to try to reword it. I just had to say something becuase the ignorance of your statement just astounded me. Not only do you know nothing about the effects of marijuana on the human body, but you also know nothing about being high on it. "Just smoke a little more, maybe you`ll see the blue fairy" WTF is that even supposed to mean? It sounds like you are thinking of Green Fairy people would referrence while drinking Absinthe, but that is the most sense I can make out of it.

Just like Alcohol, you can be sure people under the influence of Marijuana have caused plenty of deaths one way or another. It`s illegal to drink and drive, thats caused plenty of deaths though its legal to to drink. That would be the same case pretty much.

Um, what they meant was the actual substance itself has caused deaths. Ever hear of Alcohol Poisoning or lung cancer? People have killed other people while under the influence of just about anything, so that really isn`t the arguement here at all. The purpose for that statement is to show how toxic both tobacco and alcohol are to the human body and the marijuana can`t even cause death. So I think you may need to acutally watch this video, instead of commenting on other people`s comments.

This argument that drugs won`t be legalized, because of the bussiness behind sucks, if you ask me. There is plenty of money to be made from legal drugs. You can grow your own tabacco and make your own beer and booze. But do ya? Do ya? Not mentioning the fact that in most countries you have to have a license to grow tabacco or make booze. And you have to pay a lot. So once legalized, drugs will make a lot of money, both to government and big companies. My guess is that most people are just scared what would happen if anyone can buy anything, would our society disintegrate? That is the mindset of constituents and therefore of politicians. In my opinion, no conspiracy is neccessary to explain current situation.
