I miss The range. I had this 303 British, that was converted to a 308. It was Sweet for 800 Yards, the 223, was great for 300 yards with military ammo.
I saw this russian sniper rifle once that sounded like a cannon!
Ive always wanted to try AK`s

TeflonMonkey, I think you mean the SVD Dragunov, its also pretty similiar to the Ak at least on its robustness. I dont know the sound of it, only from some video games, but its the standard russian sniper rifle. And no I dont think that the gun sounds in video games are all authentic but it sounded pretty loud to me in Max Payne 2.

I didnt say that Bluflame, I just suggested it. Ive never heard the sound of an original SVD Dragunov, like I already said. I just said that it sounded pretty loud to me in that game.
And I know you dont believe in such thing as "recording" something but imo it could well be that in Max Payne 2 they used the original sounds. I dont know it for sure but it could be.
Oh and btw, they DID record original gun sounds in SOME games.
Just read properly and then you`ll find that your comment is pretty much useless bashing. The SVD Dragunov is used by most of the Russian military and I just assumed that he meant that.
Now dont be offended or anything I like most of your comments, Im just repeating what I said in the last comment. For you to better comprehend it.
