interesting.
you know i really can`t understand while oil consuming countries don`t put a significant amount of money in non-oil technologies. it`s ridiculous to keep paying to import oil, sends money out of your own country and makes u dependent, lose-lose, so what gives?

Who is the worst?

China the country who dont give a damn about Sudan and civil war?

USA the country that invade other country and create a civil war?

Use your brain, and not your patriotism.

How about America`s rhetoric about human rights and then sending prisoners off to countries that practice torture and then finding a grey area of their own to practice their own form of torture.

Or calling Iran part of the axis of evil when it was an American backed coup of Iran`s *democratic" government and the installation of American friendly Monarch Dictatorship and its subsequent overthrow by the current Islamic government which is understandably not USA friendly.

Or that Americans helped put Saddam in power but he wouldn`t be their puppet so in came the marines and out comes the bodies and the oil tankers.

...this is sad actually.

Who can support the US position here? We a "democratic" government which supported Pinochet, a massively brutal dictator which committed widespread human rights atrocities and kept 40% of the population in poverty...

We the Land of the Free with a Carpet of the Oppressed.

ok123jump Fuck You!! Don`t pretend you understand global situations. If anything Pinochet was not a massive murderer, he`s totalled to have killed 3-5 thousand ppl. Oh but I`m sure the heroes the world adores most like Stalin, who killed 8 million ( excluding enemy combatants), is not a "massive killer." Lets not forget Lenin, oh yeah he just killed 200-400 thousand ppl, but it`s justified because he was a communist and was againsnt the U.S. And lets all wear shirts of that BRUTAL killer Che Guevara who went throughout latin america killing men to enforce his ideals on people. Hey it`s Mao Ze-Dong, he was just helped by Russia, he killed 18 mill but it`s ok because he wasn`t supported by the U.S which doesn`t deem him a "Massive" murderer. No ,lets just say that they`re idealist, Pinochet in turn just wanted to save his nation from the heavier inflictions that came from communism; but hey it`s called barbarism when you`re less apathetic toward killing people than your advesaries. Why is it if the U.S supports Pinochet he`s a "massive killer" but if Russia or china support Kim of N. Korea he`s a "hero" to his nation/ world? Isn`t that hiprocresy? Is it that you`re so desensitized to real assasins that you just hop on the wagon that`s most popular. It`s called choosing the lesser evil. And fuck you friend if you can`t see that the U.S is the better choice, a shitty, but better!!
