Smoke Stack Demolition

Video from the implosion of the 570-foot high concrete smokestack at the old Xcel Energy coal-powered plant in St. Paul, Minnesota. It fell early Saturday morning (06/28/08). About two hundred pounds of explosives were used to demolish the stack. It was constructed in 1972.

Thats just probably some ash residue and what not that came out. I highly doubt they would clean it out if they were just gonna topple it. I wonder why they decided to demo it though.
