What a douche-bag! First off, does he really need that village people gay-biker handle-bar mustache?

There are a number of things that are and may be wrong with this depiction. First off, it takes a while for your body to metabolize alcohol. Taking 5 shots all in a row won`t do much up front. Which may be why he felt ok to drive in the beginning. Assuming he waited either between shots or before getting into a simulator, the fact that he knew he was trying to get drunk has been shown to have a significant impact on motor-skills and test performance. Inversely, there is data which seems to indicate that if someone is given alcohol without knowing how much, or told it`s much less to where the subject expects not to get drunk, they will perform significantly better on the same array of tests (including a driving simulator).

None of this suggests that drunk driving is ok, but who actually thought it was to begin with? Once again, this particularly douchey closet-homosexual sets out to prove yet another point most everyone accepts as a truism.

I remember watching this show (maybe not this particular episode) and I recall it being quite interesting generally. If anyone has more of it I`d appreciate the upload, never the less this particular bit was pretty sad. A weak attempt at a public service announcements to scare 16 year olds.

That simulator sucked balls. Even sober, the obstacles seem to appear real late on the screen and look near impossible to avoid.

Max_Power: Well first of all, there is this thing called editing. It`s when they remove a part of time to shorten the show. They actually do it all the time, even in non-fiction shows. So after he takes 5 shots, the probably waited a while, but they cut that out since it`s not needed.

Secondly. Yes, there is a placebo effect. However most people tend to be on their drunkest side when they drink, in real life that is. Which is what really matters.

Bullshit Experiment : he didn`t drive it Sober.
Although Personally I`d never drink & drive, maybe a beer or 2, but till now I have driven & drunk once (5 min drive).

I had a glass of wine, and it had really effected my driving I kept turning late and getting close to the sidewalks while turning.. driving a stick shift didnt help either with all the wheel spins..and you do feel more daring.

I have been drove by drunk drivers, but only cos i was more shitfaced then them lol.
