SEGA had already firmly established itself as a company that would not hesitate to completely abandon their own hardware platforms the minute they thought they had the "next big thing".

SEGA dug it`s own grave when they screwed over the gaming community (myself included) after they decided to drop support for the 32X, and then Saturn. Gamers learned valuable lessons from that, and in turn stopped supporting SEGA. I of course learned nothing, ran out and bought an Atari Jaguar..

i loved my dreamcast it was so fun too bad it failed, i still got it somewhere in my house.

I just traded all my dreamcast games in on Battlefield Bad Company, it was a good machine, better than the ps2 imo.

dreamcast was ok, i remember loveing the game gear...then 5 years later after it was dead and gone we got the game boy advanced which was a complete ripoff and didnt even have a light at first...

As i remember my friend had Dreamcast and I waited for PS2. Dream cast had a bulky control pad that was too heavy and a memory card you could use as a door-stop. Sure the online play was good but i can never forgive dreamcast for "resident evil : Code Veronia" coz that screwed up the resident evil story line. I just hated the dreamcast. thats my opinion if i get voted down then so be it.

sorry but the greatest console was the Atari 2600 bring back the word panels!

The dreamcast was good but sadly not good enough :/ now we only really have Playstation and Xbox, and oh of cause wii for fun

The only thing wrong with this system is they didn`t have copy protection on the disks. I have almost every game b/c of that :)
