Wouldnt it make more sense to silently try the key, then storn in that mofo before anyone got a chance to load a gun or flush the drugs Or whatever they were there in the first palce for, yelling "Police!" at the moment of breach?

I mean come on its like throwing a tennis ball at a hornets nest then running up trying to remove it.
