the usa was warned by european governments several times but decided to ignore all warnings. bush didnt know about it, because he decided to be deaf.

besides, i´ve heard that al quaeda was supported by america while they fought the soviets and they were very thankfull for the military aid they recieved. but just a few years later they hated america like nothing else and the reason for this hate is : "they hate our freedom" honestly - are you people buying this crap??? i want to know what the fuck went down in afghanistan during the war years with russia.

There`s so much that we don`t know thanks to an insubstantial investigation and a destroyed crime scene (thank you, Giuliani). What happened to building 7? Why did the government ignore warnings before the attack? Why have some of the hijackers appeared alive? And you only need to have a high school education in physics to understand that jet fuel cannot melt construction steel, you don`t need to be an expert because the contradictions are fundamental.

Of course coming to the conclusion that it must be an inside job is a leap, but coming to the conclusion that many issues are unresolved is not. Not every "truther" believes that he knows everything that went on that day. Many of them just want an independant investigation. Is that paranoid?

Stop with the building seven it was taken down by the owner because it suffered some minor damage and he knew he could make some money of it. Have you seen Manhattan, it doesn`t take Donald Trump to realize that if you have a vacant property in that area you are sitting on gold.
The hijackers were not seen alive, the fact that many Muslims have similar names is the same coincidence that there are probably i don`t know at least seven guys in NYC walking around with the name Steve Jones.
We didn`t do any thing because, get this. We think were invincible. That`s right, the same administration that thought we would be welcomed as liberators after dropping more explosives then any war in recent history.
The point Chomsky is making so eloquently is that the calls for an independent investigation on 9/11 are just taking away from the incredibly horrible crimes that we should be investigating. You should be pissed of and upset at our government, they are responsible for incredible crimes against humanity, killing more innocents, then the 3,000 or so killed on 9/11. Don`t forget torture, rendition, and violation of our dearly beloved constitution. If you want to put in some work instead of bitching about 9/11 being an inside job, get behind Kusinich and the impeachment.

"Stop with the building seven it was taken down by the owner because it suffered some minor damage and he knew he could make some money of it. Have you seen Manhattan, it doesn`t take Donald Trump to realize that if you have a vacant property in that area you are sitting on gold."

The official story blames fire.

"The hijackers were not seen alive, the fact that many Muslims have similar names is the same coincidence that there are probably i don`t know at least seven guys in NYC walking around with the name Steve Jones."

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/1559151.stm

"He acknowledges that he attended flight training school at Daytona Beach in the United States, and is indeed the same Waleed Al Shehri to whom the FBI has been referring."

Apparently, this really was the Steve Jones that was on the plane.

"The point Chomsky is making so eloquently is that the calls for an independent investigation on 9/11 are just taking away from the incredibly horrible crimes that we should be investigating."

Many of which are justified by 911. That argument is a complete cop out. Believe it or not, people are capable of focusing on more than one issue at a time, as you said, look at Kucinich, he has more than 50 arguments for impeachment. The war on "Terror" grew out of 911. If 911 was proven as a false flag, you can bet that many attrocities we don`t even know about would be revealed.

I dont know what happened that day but I do know is that the Adminstration`s account makes no sense what so ever. Its really a complicated situation...the 9/11 thruthers take it way too far and the 9/11 commision report insults my intelligence...so the whole situations is so hazy that I dont really see the truth ever coming out.

I don`t think we`ll ever really know what happened that day, but there is always room for skepticism. With all the physical evidence so quickly removed, we can really only guess what occurred.

@ Golgon

The movie Charlie Wilson`s War does a decent job of explaining what went down so you should check that out but it all comes down to the fact that we helped Afghanistan defeat the Soviets by supplying them with weapons, but once we drove the Soviets out of the country we stopped sending aid to country for reconstruction. The country was thrown into more turmoil and was in a state of civil war which lasted up until 2000 when the Taliban controlled approx. 95% of the country.

So basically they don`t hate our freedoms they hate the fact that we helped them free themselves of Soviet oppression and then let them try to pick up the pieces by themselves.

Golgon:

I can give you three reasons...

1. with the onset of Saddam`s invasion of Kuwait, Bin laden actually offered his service to the king of Saudia arabia (Bin laden himself is a Saudi national) in case Saddam also wound up invading the Arab peninsula. That king instead took the US of A up on its offer and allowed the deployment of foreign troops in Saudia Arabia, not a popular move for some muslims (escpecially Bin Laden) because there are some sites in that country (like mecca) that are conseidered sacred. Basically non muslims on "holy soil" really gained the ire of some fundementalists.

2. During the Soviet-Afgan wa, the US provided lots of aid to inssurgents (or freedom fighters fighting the "godless commes", the world according to Reagon). What was kind of strange was that there were inccedents where these groups would attack NGO`s providing said aid for civllian use. Bassically there were elements within this insurgency that had always had a dislike for the west.

3. people don`t always realize the signifigance of the end of the soviet-afgan war. the fact is that the war itself was treated as Jihad for many of these fighters (even more so than the foreign fighters that came to the country), and with its conclusion it gave a sense of credence and legitimacy to the concept pf religios struggle once again.

there is much more to these conflicts than just this itself, but these factors are what i believe to be the main contributers to the political mess of today.

Orgasmo.... whatever your name is ^

the Taleban never controlled that much of Afganistan, in fact the current administration of the country has its roots embbeded in the Northern Allaince, which controlled about 30% of the country at the height of the Taleban`s power.

It`s kind of fishy that the government says there were no bombs in the buildings when there is tons of evidence that there was bombs in the buildings. That alone is enough to raise my eyebrows and question government complicity.

All I know is that the U.S. government and the U.S. armed forces performed like a huge clusterfuck on that day and then handed out promotions afterward.

aww..the joys of thinking about 9-11....even I am getting sick of it, and I will continue to be sick of it until I know the truth...

There were no bombs, jet fuel can`t melt steel but it can weaken steel. There is -NO- conspiracy. Just one gigantic massive fuck up by the administration and a lot of planning by the terrorists.
