the realiy is the iwo jima reference doesnt make much sense. Neither does the V for Vindetta masks. So basically we got people pretending they know what it means and trying to make honestly confused people feel like shit. This is call society.

OK, i`ll explain

the V for vendetta masks are nothing new for people fighting against $cientology....that movie involves an anarchist who destroys an extreme facist government....the masks also help hide the identity of the people involved so that the church cannot identify and harass them afterwards

the Iwo Jima reference is significant because the battle of Iwo Jima was the beginning of the end for Japan during WW2...Iwo Jima during WW2 was an early warning station for the home islands which permitted the Japanese to scramble their fighters ahead of any bombing raid, with its capture there were no more early warnings for the home islands and it permitted American bombers to ditch over friendly territory that was significantly closer to Japan than were the Marianas.

Also, Iwo Jima was considered Japanese home territory prior to the beginning of WW2, or in other words, it was the first battle during the war where the Japanese lost something that they had before the war started.

The Rosenthal picture is significant because it represents the battle itself and because it is possibly the most famous American WW2 photograph ever taken. The other contender: (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/V%E2%80%93J_day_in_Times_Square)

In this regard the picture is probably a statement that it is the beginning of the end for the church of $cientology.
