Hundreds of Dolphins

Video of a very big group of dolphins spotted off the coast of Kyoto Prefecture. The pacific white-sided dolphin group shown in the video is estimated to contain between 200 and 500 dolphins, a pretty rare sight these days.

I`m Japanese and I`ve lived in Japan for first 9 years of my life, since then I go back there once a year to see my relatives and friends but they`ve never heard of anyone who eats dolphin, let alone being on a menu in a restaurant.

Can somebody tell me which part of Japan where you they practice this culture?

I`m not saying it doesn`t happen as I`ve seen the video of the massacre myself but every Japanese people I`ve spoken doesn`t know about it. I`ll probably get flamed for this but I want to try it at least once.
