I`ve been a huge Bruce Lee fan since I was 5, however I think Tony Jaa might be able to knock him the fuck out..

^Damn..that would have been a sweet fight. Tony Jaa has some pretty moves but in actual combat it doesn`t matter how pretty you look. I think Bruce Lee`s style of fighting is much more effective. No to put Tony down..I`ve seen some of his demonstrations and he`s fuckin awesome. But in an actual fight...I would throw my money on Bruce any day!!

Last night my buddy had just taken some acid and I showed him this. He just went "Ohhh so that`s how they do it..." when he heard the first bit.

If someone comes here and start throwing crap around that he wasn`t a great martial artist should go read this:

EDIT: Even if you shot at him, he`d probably dodge the bullet.

Two other very well known martial arts legends appear in this compilation battling it out with Bruce. One should be fairly obvious...the other probably only true martial arts fan will be able to spot.

^ I get what you`re saying, however Bruce Lee`s style was Kung Fu. You mention Tony Jaa having pretty moves, I`d have to say it`s the other way around. Muay Thai is pretty much the most devastating and practical striking martial art out there. Kung Fu works very well against, well Kung Fu. However in an actual fight between the two I have a feeling Tony Jaa might fuck Bruce Lee up real bad.

Lee would depend on his intense speed and extremely well toned skills. However I simply feel that between the two styles, Muay Thai could absolutely destroy Kung Fu, or even Jeet Kun Do.

However, having said that I stand by it.. but Bruce Lee was abnormally fucking amazing, so yes it would have been a pretty amazing fight. Unfortunate that he passed so young!

^Your whole argument is Kung Fu vs Muay Thai...I`m talkin about Bruce Lee vs Tony Jaa. And to tell you the truth alot of Bruce Lee`s moves weren`t all that pretty..the one inch punch for example. Bruce Lee was all about results and he did a pretty good job of gettin em. He even once went on record sayin he could beat any fighter in the world in a real fight...now thats badass!!

When Bruce kicks that guy through the screen door at 2:50 - the guy who go through the door is Jackie Chan - That is I think (not sure tho) how he started out in movies by being a stunt man and stuff.

^Actually that may be Jackie Chan in that clip as well...difficult to tell. The clip I was talkin about is @ 4:41 when Bruce grabs Jackie by the hair & snaps his neck.

^^ Watch the clip again sport, it was all fake. If you watch the making of most Tony Jaa films, he actually hit`s these fucking guys. They are wearing padding of course, edited out, but he`s fucking destroying them.

And yes, the majority of my argument is Kung Fu vs Muay Thai.. even Kung Fu practitioners have told me that Muay Thai is far more practical.

Bruce Lee was perhaps the most fit athlete we`ll ever see in our lives and yes he might rip Tony apart. But dude, I`m not some kid who doesn`t appreciate Bruce Lee, I know how amazing the man was. I`m just saying, I don`t think he ever had to compete with Muay Thai.

It`s a style of fighting that pretty much rips apart Kung Fu.. just straight forward breaks through all the concepts and knee fucks the gentleman using it.

But if you wish to speak about Jaa vs Lee.. well I would put my money on Bruce Lee in a second. However I think that would be based on my preconception of how good he was, rather then the fact his style is shit these days.. They sure look good in a movie though!

^Trust me bro...Bruce was known to actually hit guys in his movies too. The side kick @ the end of this scene I linked to below from Enter the Dragon is a real kick..and Robert Wall had to wear padding for it..and the dude behind him suffered a broken arm as a result of Bruce`s power.

As for kung Fu vs Muay Thai..thats a whole different argument cuz Bruce`s style was not confined to only Kung Fu. Bruce had a style all his own..he studied a variety of different styles and used what he found useful from each..he even practiced good old fashioned boxing. Also I know your not just some kid..I can see you appreciate what Bruce Lee has done..but you should know that posting a comment like Tony Jaa can kick Bruce Lee`s ass is going to be subject to debate.

The other Martial Artist mentioned above is InoSanto. One of the formost instructers for Jeet Kune Do, as well as an escrima expert.
One of Lee`s best and brightest students.
