just read about why they chose not to release for pc. the lame excuse from some producer named cameron suey was that they didn`t think they could satisfy both high-end pc rigs and low-end ones.. So basically it`s a BS excuse. Also, there is no mutliplayer mode in the xbox or ps3 version. WTF kinda saber/force game doesn`t have that option??

Crysis (and Far Cry before that) were both too challenging for consoles until a couple years after their release.. and the Jedi Knight series of games, where we first got to use a lightsaber in a game at all, was on PC, and that whole series is why I was so excited about this newest version, the next expected evolution from that last Jedi Academy game.. and yet no multiplayer and no pc.. just plain stupid decision for longevity of the game.

Well, truth be told, the physics in this game will certainly be an interesting display of what a PC could be capable of, so I doubt a middle-spec system would be able to cope fully. I imagine it`d handle the vast majority of the game fine, but when you consider the numerous calculations that must go on, you pushing 5 storm troopers, who then collide with other objects, which then start bouncing off other stuff....

I remember an old PC I had where it could run Half-life 2 easily, but if a mass explosion took place, it`d seriously drag the framerate down. I think that was Lucasarts main concern here. Still, in the end, I don`t find that an excuse why they couldn`t release the title and make it essentially a system-hog like Crysis is.

As for the lack of multiplayer, I really don`t mind....I always consider multiplayer a mixed bag of a gameplay style as there`s always someone out there cheating, or griefing. I enjoy TF2, for example, but even I get tired if I`m playing and people are obviously either cheating or way WAY better, and it makes the gameplay experience crappy. Sometimes it`s good to play a game that has been made from the ground up as a multiplayer game, and other times like this as a single player game.

From my understanding, it was first aimed for the PC and not consoles beacause of the physics engine needed to run the game. I`m sure it will come out on PS3 and x360. Would be stupid to miss that money they could make.

Just look at Mass Effect, XBox exclusive.... until they worked it out on PC. Just wait a few months, and we`ll see it on PC. I guarantee (a-la-Big Daddy... not Regular Daddy)

Finally they explain why the player gets to kill stormtroopers... because no one must know. And I have no doubt there will be a PC version.. there wasn`t supposed to be a BioShock on PS3, there will be, Mass Effect was Xbox exclusive, it isn`t anymore.. so on.

Fuck, I may get a 360 just becuase of this game. They will have this AND GTA4. Fuck it, in fact I will get one.

Also, the reason they don`t release game on PC anymore is because of assholes like us that download it for free. Personally, I rarely download shit now becuase if you don`t pay them they won`t make it and some shit is worth the $50.

^^^ I agree with draser. They`ll wait a few months when they get cash out of the game or atleast to the point that they made the money they spent to make and release it on PC.
