5 Killed when pickup slams into stopped freight train
With a Seminole County Sheriff`s helicopter overhead, a truck slammed into the side of a stopped train late Tuesday, killing the four men and one woman inside. Florida Highway Patrol troopers estimate the Chevrolet Avalanche was traveling 74 mph when it hit the train, Sheriff Don Eslinger said.

Anybody remember that movie where this happens ? Two guys and a girl are running from the police after robbing a bank (i think) and they almost get away but right at the end they hit a train in a orange grove. ?? anybody remember the name of it ?

This happened like 5 minutes from my house. The streets they were on are dark as hell at night. If you notice at 1:40 they switch to color and the only reason you can see the truck and the side of that train is because of the cop cars and that huge helicopter spotlight on them.

I can`t even tell by the video if there was a stop guard at the crossing on that side. It looks like it only has the 2 flashing ones on the side. Either way though, they were going 74 mph down a dark back road. There was no way they were about to stop in time.

All the bleeding hearts should also take notice that the cops stopped persuing and backed off...yet the guy still didnt slow down and still crashed.
