I will admit that eating pot can be really uncomfortable. I ate some pot-butter cookies and smoked a bowl with a friend from out-of-town, we were high for over 12 hours. It seriously got to the point where I just wanted to be sober so I could go do stuff. In this sense, I can sort of sympathize with the cop, being too stoned can be very unpleasant.

They ate a few brownies and nothing happened(it can take up to an hour to kick in when you eat them) so they ate it all and got extremely high and freaked out.
