^^^It`s certainly possible. As long as the top of the slide is higher than the top of the loop, you`ll make it around - in theory, that is.

This pic is from action park. You had to go extremely quickly down the slide to avoid getting stuck or falling at the top of the loop - they even had to build a hatch to let people out who didnt make it all the way around.

The slide was removed because it was extremely dangerous. The rest of the park was pretty badass - they had some awesome rides, including bumper-speedboats and an alpine slide. Too bad they got closed down :(
