someone doesn`t seem to be aware of current events....the democratic nomination had been fairly certain of for the past several weeks, and had been confirmed for at least a week ago. hillary even had a speech announcing her withdraw at the end of last week.

Ron Paul is a fool. Still I hope he runs as an independent and takes more votes away from McCain. At least Ron Paul is principled, even if some of his ideas like going on the gold standard and cutting all social programs are incredible outdated, the man sticks with what he believes. McCain on the other hand wouldn`t know principle if it hit him on the head, and his policies will bankrupt our country further then it is already. Vote Obama.

Nothings going to "change" when Obama gets elected except that things will get worse. And yes he will get elected because its already been decided. I think its pretty obvious now.

I have no faith in any politician to do what is in the best interests of this country and its people. They all work for special interests and bankers and they will utlimately serve them while putting on a nice front for the sheeple.

But we get the government we deserve.

^ Amen. I don`t trust Obama, it`s always the lesser of two evils for me in presidential elections, and he`s it. But those are the leaders we choose each time around. There are mechanisms in place to choose a candidate who doesn`t get mainstream media attention (Ron Paul`s independent convention is evidence of those mechanisms).

But you`d have to be a reader to realize and understand that. And good luck getting the electorate to do that, even if you yell at the top of your lungs that they will get more money next year if they do it. They have been given a fashionably jaded point of view that everything is beyond their control.

Putting politicians out of a job? Well, that just wouldn`t be right, and it seems like so much effort. Do nothing and let them get reelected so they can ignore real issues and legislate my tax dollars for bank welfare and corporate handouts? Well, then at least we`ll still know what`s what, and can still have an opinion regarding everything that we should be more informed about.

Plus, I`m more comfortable taking it up the arse economically because the Republican majority allowed Enron and others to start trading oil commodities in private, unregulated stock exchanges. There are now 60 times the number of oil transactions in these stock exchanges than there were in 2000. Two years after Bush changed the rules for ICE, the electronic energy exchange operators, the price of oil has more than doubled.

Don`t believe it when you hear that this inflation is mainly due to supply and demand (Fuck you, Jim Cramer). These new private stock exchanges have effectively taken the price of oil out of OPEC`s hands and put it into your friendly neighborhood hedge fund managers`. Google Bush`s CFTC (2006) and oil speculation. It is all but certain that a big chunk of the new rise in the prices of oil is due to private investors bidding up the price of oil for their own personal gain. How much? Good luck getting your Representative to force those futures traders to share that info.

People need to stop posting clips that are only a segment of the the acually clip, your not doing any favors for anyone.

Ron Paul is very intelligent and is touching issues that hardly any of the other canidates wish to think about touching and the mainstream candiates dont have the `set` to even think about touching them. He is the best choice in this campaign all tough it is said to say that voting is rigged so It does hardly matter who you vote for :(
