Arab-Israeli Six Day War 1967 (1/4)

Part One. Israel fights for her life and wins. In the 1967 battle "Israel fought against its Arab neighbors Egypt, Jordan, and Syria. The nations of Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Algeria also contributed troops and arms to the Arab forces." It was an amazing achievement against all the odds.

Interesting that the documentary ignores the massacre that Israel did in this war. And by the way, Israel started this war, it was not fighting for "her" life. How surprising that they won given they had the support of England, France, and the US while Egypt got their independence in 1952 from English occupation.

What bothers me is those jews like to take all the credit when it`s so obvious that they would be deep in arab shit if it were not for the supplies and armaments Europe and U.s gave them. They take all the credit but the question I have for them is how many years did they spend wandering in the desert before moses gave them a cache of fucking weapons; or did that happen before he gave them israel and not britain...

Wtf who made this rule that in war you can`t execute prisoners? The geneva convention is bs and there is no such thing as putting restrictions to war. Besides the arabs did exactly the same shit but no one bothers to publicise that. It`s like socialists, everyone fanticises with them as being heroic and fighting for what they believed in while being punished by a dictator. But no one stops to think that socialists are murderers that fucking lied to the poor and that the creation of brutal dictatorships were direct results of socialist brutality.

It was NOT an amazing acheivement as you put it, Israel robbed land and murdered innocent families in a thirst for land they did not deserve. After the horror of the concentration camps in the Second World War the allies felt that they, somehow, owed it to the Jewish survivors to make them a country. A country in land where they had not lived for hundreds of years.

So the Israelis went back and set about subjecting a race of people into humiliating and degraded lifestyles, sound familiar?

Are people really so surprised that the Palestinians have an abject hatred of the Israelis? Do Jewish people love the Nazis?

Say what you guys want, but there was a war between countries that hated each other and one of the came out as the winner.

All the great countries in the present and past became powerful through military prowess. The Romans, the Greek, Mongols, United Kingdoms, America, Germany, Israel, all became strong by the means of violence and power. Countries that don`t use violence to look out for their personal interest sit on the sidelines and watch quietly.

I`m not saying everyone should just declare war on whomever they can take advantage of, but for those that keeps on whining about it, guess what, thats how the world works. Even in the modern age, violence and hate dominates politics and it won`t change. For if everyone adopted peace and kindness, the country that did not will have the advantage over everyone else.

Note this is just cold hard logic and does not include any morals or ethics, but sadly that is how it is in real life. And it will not change unless you somehow convert human nature

@Nightmare, when you see 100,000 plus troops right along your border that could easily wipe your country out if they entered on their own terms invites a preemptive attack. It would make no sense to sit on your hands while a massive army mobilizes on your doorstep.

One example is the Six Day War of 1967. Israel was the first to use military force, when it attacked the Egyptians. Egypt had not used force against Israel, so Israel appeared the aggressor and in the wrong. But Egypt had carried out the following actions before Israel struck:

* announced a policy of hostility to Israel
* put its military forces on maximum alert
* expelled the UN Emergency force from the Sinai border area
* strengthened its forces on the border with Israel
* announced the closure of the Straits of Tiran to Israeli ships
* formed mutual support treaties with Iraq, Jordan and Syria
