let`s sum this documentary up:
- green berets bought cannon fodder slaves in vietnam`s prisons
- special forces brainwash locals to die for american interests
- if those locals refuse, they get `court martialed on the spot`
- bombing weddings in afghanistan was no mistake, as the laser guiding system for bombs is foolproof
- getting rid of noriega (a former cia operative) when he decided to nationalise the panama canal instead of having half of the country controlled by the US was heroism redefined
- special forces operatives are constantly in breach of every war convention
- special forces operatives do not wear regular uniforms and thus are in the same category as the detainees at guantanamo bay

i know this will get voted down... meh... needed to get that out anyway

Alright so sploing, heres what we do, we get rid of our special forces. But that means we need a lot more regular forces occupying a lot more land, who are less trained (most probably wont even be able to speak the native language). Good job there.

we could of course grow up and stop killing each other in the first place... but as that is unlikely to happen soon, we (humanity that is) could at least stay out of plain stupid wars, which would free up manpower for building and maintaining a certain level of civilisation, which in turn could lead to better trained and equipped professionals in every field

Sometimes all you have is the lesser of two evils. I agree that special forces were/are responsible for some nasty stuff but panama was the exception.

The western world`s oil and food flows through panama. The wrong person in power could literally choke the western hemisphere to death. I`d rather have the free trade zone than have a dictator tell me when I get my diesel.
