I`m usually against U.S. flexing its muscle around the world, since most of the time its for profit and expansion of influences, but this time I would prefer seeing Iran obliterated if it means preventing them from acquiring a nuclear weapon. Iran is a country filled with religious nutcases, and those bastards don`t use logic and reason too often. I would hate to wait and see what happens when they do get the bomb. I say attack now before it`s too late for the west.

there is no reason why america, or any western country has to attack iran. they are no threat to anyone but isreal, but then, it wouldnt be the first time that isreal has got the usa to do its dirty work for them. I really am waiting to hear the excuse that america eventually gives to justify attacking yet another free nation.

Iran is no more full of religous nutcases then america, its just a different religion. would you suggest that europe or china attack america because its full of religous nuts? what about isreal? definately full of religous nuts, and they have nukes, and a human rights record that would make hitler blush!

If a war started for some reason. Iran would have to be on the defensive since they can`t launch on invasion of the U.S. and then it`s pretty much fair game for the U.S. to do nuts. Nighttime carpet bombing for months followed by ground forces. It would be over within 3 months, perhaps 5-6 at most, then they would be able to pull out and let the Iranian government enjoy their new parking lot.

^^^^ Thats what they thought about Iraq. You greatly underestimate them. We can carpet bomb them but most there terrian is mountainous. And right now we couldnt think of a ground invasion in our best dreams unless you want to volunteer for the draft.

You are all so wrong. Iran, once having the bomb, will use that power to expand it`s influence in the middle east and strengthen surrounding islamic nations. They are very anit-american and very anti-israel. What you fail to see, is that given a confrontation between Iran and Israel/USA, many european countries will be forced to act on the side of USA/Israel, and this puts Europe in peril. Iran must be prevented from acquiring a nuclear bomb, at all costs. Nuke them...nuke them all.

dirk_diggler: The main reason why people thought it wouldn`t take long to finish Iraq was because they assumed that people would handle the war correctly.
Some of the smartest people in the world had basically made a "list" of Dos and Don`ts, the Bush Adminsitration pretty much trashed that and just said "LEEEEROOOOYY JEEEEEENKINSSSSS!!!"

If handled correctly, which is neutralize the threat and pull out, a war with Iran would take less than a year. Go in, destroy their army, get people who are in charge, do whatever should be done with them and get out. That`s how wars should be fought. The main reason why Iraq is still going on is because the U.S. triggered a chain reaction of events which led to an extremely obvious civil war. On top of that the U.S. started building a "democracy" for some reason(oil).

willtopower: They know that if they use a bomb on real people or even threaten to use it they will probably be blown to kingdom come. I don`t think they are that stupid, insane they may be but they sure as hell aren`t stupid.

Iran doesn`t possess the vulcan bomber, F-1 Tornado, no KA-50 and no nuclear powered subs. All the rest of their shit is from the 1960`s-70s. So yeah nice try at a bit of propaganda.
