Your ISP != the "internet". Your ISP simply gives you a connection to an existing larger network (the internet). This would be a huge mistake to pursue and would cost any ISP ALL of their subscribers. These idiots either got confused by people mentioning that it came up at a meeting (and was probably shot the fuck down), or they`re just trying to generate traffic (and revenue) by using scare tactics.

If by some outlandishly slim chance this did get pushed through, it wouldn`t change anything, everyone would simply revert back to the BBS days until the mess was sorted out. Please learn to think for yourselves and RESEARCH your curiosities before buying into this kind of shit!

Uhuh, like AT&T, Bell, etc. Who the fuck do you think owns all those backbones? Me? That`s right, it`s the big companies that, suprize suprize, are also the big ISP`s. I`m on Telus. They would love something like this, they are one of two big ISP`s in western Canada, and they own tons of internet backbone.

Boring... same old bs warning. Making this clip does nothing. Like most people on the internet, all they can do is "spread the word." They are completely powerless, and unless they can do something about it, I don`t want to hear it.
