Giant `Telescope` Links London, New York

Not long ago the “London – New York” Telescope has been opened. It is not a fake, you can really see people from the over side. You could easy guess how it is made, but the idea is amazing.

I actually really like the idea and the way it was created. Should there have been just a webcam with a computer screen, nobody would care.

Brings people together. That was actually quite cool :-)

I know how it was made.. A huge tunnel was dug up that goes under the ocean..and some little etc here and there..

Max_Power, Who said anything about fiber optics? Surely this is just a broadcast using 2 cameras and 2 TV screens. It`s cool but not a big deal. In a very real sense I have a 1 way portal to the whole world in my living room, it`s called my TV.
