^ Yeah, but the rocket was really fast. The building was hit as soon as it was launched. I thought I would be able to see the rocket traveling between the solider and the building like in movies.

are those cities mostly abandoned or not? do people leave the area when they hear shooting? because how do the soldiers know if there`s no one else in surrounding houses when they call for airstrikes or use shoulder launched missiles?

Easiest way to deal with a sniper...

Some movie falicies:

1. Gun fire doesn`t sound half as impressive...just a loud pop.
2. Anything tube-fired, rocket-assisted usually flys faster than the eye can see...unless you`re the one making the shot, then it seems to take forever.
3. Grenades have about three times the kill radius in open ground, but look really unimpressive when they detonate. (Seen one on a range through 4 inch plexi)
4. When you point a weapon at someone, it doesn`t make any noise...especially a cocking noise. You actually have to cock the weapon for that to happen. (my pet peeve from watching LOST.)

As far as shoulder fired rockets go. RPG`s (Rocket Propelled Grenades) are the ones that travel a bit slower and you can kinda see them as they are fired. Whatever that dude fired has some serious velocity on it.
